Job Location : United Arab Emirates / Abu Dhabi 
Required Skills : JOB PURPOSE

To coordinate, monitor and follow up On Job Training Activities and Assessment of Company UAE Nationals, at ST & UA sites. Follow up implementation of competency based development programs and personal development plans (PDPs). Coordinate implementation of assessment activities according to Company established procedures, policies, and guidelines. Assist ST&UA team leaders in training need analysis and budget preparation.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

•    Act as interface between MDTC HQ and sites and coordinate on job training activities of the UAE Nationals, on day to day basis.

•    Arrange / coordinate plant specific, day to day training activities in consultation with the line staff at SU Sites, MDTC Instructors and Learning / Development Advisors.

•    Ensure that appropriate learning tasks (mapped to competency based programs and PDPs), are assigned, completed, checked and assessed and recorded on day to day basis and help filling the gaps identified.

•    Ensure that daily, weekly or rotation wise training log books are written by the UAE National Developees and checked by their supervisors.

•    Organize panel assessments and skill gap analysis of the UAE National Developees, in Operations discipline, and follow-up on recommended remedial actions.

•    Co-ordinate with MDTC-AUH and line staff to arrange, required in-house and external training courses for the UAE Nationals.

•    Arrange to prepare plant specific training and instructional material using input from the site staff and MDTC instructors.

•    Liaise with MDTC-HQ, MDTC-UZ, MDTC-ZR and line staff for preparation, review and implementation of the competency based development programs / PDPs for SU Sites Developees.

•    Analyze feedback from line Supervisors, Trainers and Instructors on how to improve training contents and processes, and make recommendations.

•    Assist SU Team Leaders and line staff in implementing CAMS (competency Assurance Management System) at SU sites.

•    Guide and assist the UAE Nationals at SU sites, in gathering the performance evidence for internal / external assessment and verifications (for VQ qualifications).

•    Coordinate site input in preparing competency based personal development plans (PDP’s) for UAE developees in his discipline.

•    Coordinate and arrange with HSE Department for Safety training of newly recruited UAE Nationals.

•    Monitor the progress of UAE Nationals at different stages of their development plans.

•    Assist in preparation of Training budget for SU Teams, in accordance with MDTC budget guideline communicated from time to time.

•    Demonstrate professional behavior and a caring attitude towards trainees.

•    Continuously develops himself to keep up to date with latest instructional methods and educational technologies as relevant for oil / industry.

•    Promote e-Learning at SU Sites.

•    Carry out other related duties assigned from time to time by Learning & Development Advisors, MDTC Team Leader or SU Team Leaders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•    A Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent attainments, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as On Job Trainer / Training Coordinator in the Oil / Gas industry.

•    Good knowledge of competency based programs and NVQ.

•    Proficiency in verbal and written English language.

•    Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

•    Highly computer literate.
